Our Criteria

To work with us as a support worker, you will need to hold:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • A NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • At least two year of relevant experience with Complex Participants
  • A current first aid & CPR certificate
  • A current drivers license
  • A relevant qualification
  • A current police check
  • Car insurance and car

Our Hiring Process

Become an Aspiring futures SA team member in 5 stages.

  • Stage 1 – Apply for one of our advertised roles or email your resume to us.
  • Stage 2 – A five-minute call to see if you fit the criteria
  • Stage 3 – Zoom Interview/Face to face Interview.
  • Stage 4 – References, background checks & onboarding + induction process.
  • Stage 5 – Attend a meet & greet with potential participants.

Disability Support Worker

Job description

We are delivering NDIS support to clients living in their community and seeking Support Workers to deliver quality services on a casual basis across the Adelaide southern suburbs, specifically Sturt.  These roles are responsible for providing support for people with disabilities (both in their homes and in the community) to enable access to a quality life with dignity, respect and social inclusion in the least restrictive way and  ensuring a safe environment.

There will be a combination of shorter shifts within a day, with travel between work sites, and also longer shifts including sleepovers.

  • Provide direct support to clients with complex needs, to assist with daily living (including personal care)
  • Support People with Disability to access and participate in the community
  • Adhere to individual plans, and working towards each client’s goals
  • Advocate for People with Disability to improve client outcomes and achieve desired goals by engaging with clients and their families
